Warranty
10-Year Limited Warranty
A mattress should support your body consistently over time.
At Manchot, we design our products with long-term structural stability in mind.
Every Manchot mattress is backed by a 10-Year Limited Warranty, starting from the original purchase date.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects and abnormal structural failures during normal residential use.
What This Warranty Covers
This limited warranty applies to the following manufacturing defects:
Structural Sagging
Visible indentations or sagging greater than 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) that are not caused by improper support or misuse.
Coil System Defects
Broken or damaged coils that cause the mattress to lose structural support.
Foam Structural Failure
Cracking, splitting, or abnormal deterioration of foam materials under normal use.
Manufacturing Defects in Assembly
Defects in mattress construction, including seam failures or structural assembly issues.
What This Warranty Does NOT Cover
This warranty does not cover issues caused by normal wear, misuse, or improper support.
Examples include:
- Normal softening of foam over time
- Body impressions less than 1.5 inches
- Comfort preference changes (firmness expectations)
- Damage caused by stains, spills, burns, or abuse
- Use without a proper support foundation
- Damage from improper handling, storage, or transportation
Because comfort is subjective, changes in firmness preference are not considered defects.
Proper Foundation Requirement
To maintain warranty coverage, the mattress must be used with a proper support system.
Acceptable foundations include:
- Platform beds
- Adjustable bases
- Slatted frames with slats no more than 3 inches apart
- Box springs in good structural condition
Using an inadequate foundation may cause premature sagging and may void warranty coverage.
Mattress Care Requirements
To maintain warranty eligibility:
- The mattress must remain clean and free of stains
- A mattress protector is recommended
- The mattress must not be folded, bent, or structurally modified
Stained mattresses cannot be inspected and may void warranty coverage.
Warranty Claim Process
If you believe your mattress has a defect covered by warranty, please contact our support team.
You may be asked to provide:
- Order number or proof of purchase
- Photos of the mattress surface
- Photos of the mattress foundation or frame
- Measurement of the indentation (if applicable)
Our team will review your claim and determine the next steps.
Resolution Options
If a defect covered by warranty is confirmed, Manchot may choose to:
- Repair the mattress
- Replace the mattress
- Provide a comparable replacement product
Replacement products may differ slightly in appearance if the original model is no longer available.
Warranty Coverage Period
This limited warranty remains valid for 10 years from the original purchase date.
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Proof of purchase may be required to validate the warranty claim.
Shipping and Handling for Warranty Claims
If a warranty claim is approved:
- Manchot may cover the cost of replacement shipping
- Customers may be responsible for certain shipping or handling costs depending on location
Details will be provided during the claim process.
Residential Use Only
This warranty applies only to residential household use.
Products used in commercial environments (such as hotels, rental properties, or institutional settings) are not covered under this warranty.
Warranty vs Return Policy
Warranty coverage is separate from the Home Trial Return Policy.
- Returns apply within the trial period after delivery
- Warranty coverage applies to manufacturing defects over time
Please refer to our Return Policy for trial period returns.
