Section 01
The 100-Night Home Trial
Every Manchot mattress comes with a 100-night home trial, starting on the day your mattress is delivered. If it isn't right, Manchot will arrange free pickup and issue a full refund.
You don't need to ship the mattress back. You don't need the original packaging. We handle the logistics.

How the Trial Works
Why 30 Nights First: A new mattress takes time to break in, and your body takes time to adjust. Most people report their impression after a month is meaningfully different from their first week. We ask for 30 nights not as a hurdle, but because that's when people actually know.

What Happens to Returned Mattresses
We don't resell used or opened mattresses as new. Any mattress whose inner seal has been broken is donated or recycled, not returned to inventory.
—Donated to local charities — Habitat for Humanity, family shelters, refugee resettlement programs
—Recycled through certified mattress recycling programs where donation isn't possible

Eligibility — What Qualifies for Return
—Clean — free of significant stains or odor
—Undamaged — no rips, tears, burns, or structural damage from misuse
—Used with proper support — a bed frame, platform, or slatted base with slats no more than 3 inches apart
Manchot recommends using a mattress protector from day one. Heavily soiled or damaged mattresses cannot be accepted for return.

Refund Processing
—Refund issued to original payment method within 7 business days of confirming the return
—Additional 1–5 business days to appear in your account
—Full mattress price refunded, no shipping deduction
—Free shipping you received remains free
Section 07
Items That Cannot Be Returned
The following items are final sale:
—Pillows — including the Cradle™ adjustable pillow
—Bedding accessories — sheets, protectors, covers
—Clearance items marked as final sale
—Bundle components (full bundle must be returned together)
About the Cradle™ Pillow: If you received a Cradle™ pillow as part of the Cradle Program, you keep it even if you return your mattress. It is not deducted from your refund.
Section 08
One Return per Address
We honor one return per shipping address under this policy. Customers who have already returned a mattress may contact support@manchotsleep.com to discuss product-fit guidance.
Section 09
Damaged on Arrival
Contact Manchot within fourteen (14) days of delivery with your order number and photos of the damage. We'll arrange a free replacement and your 100-night trial restarts from the replacement delivery date.

Exceptions and Limitations
—Address eligibility: Contiguous United States only
—Original purchaser only: Trial returns are not transferable
—Commercial use: Not eligible for the 100-Night Trial
—Misuse: Mattresses showing signs of misuse are not eligible
Manchot approves the overwhelming majority of trial return requests. These exceptions exist to keep the policy sustainable, not to make returns hard.
Section 12
Changes to This Policy
Changes apply to purchases made after the updated effective date. Your existing trial is governed by the policy in effect on your delivery date. Prior versions available on request.
